Special Instructions for Our Seasonal Residents 

To minimize any mail delays in delivery of your Utility Bills, please contact Utilities Customer Service at (561) 243-7100 with your change of address.  We also suggest turning off your water at your house valve and locking your outdoor spigot while you are away. Remember to contact us again when you return to Delray Beach so that your Utility account reflects the correct address. Thank you for your assistance.

Service Interruption

If your water is turned off due to non-payment, your account must be paid in full to restore service. To guarantee that your service is turned on the same day, Monday through Friday, you must pay your full account balance plus a late fee of $5 and a reconnection fee of $20 before 4:30 p.m. This payment can be made online, by phone or in person at City Hall. Once the payment has been made, please call Customer Service at (561) 243-7100 to confirm same day turn-on service.

Notice of Water and Wastewater Rate Increase

The City of Delray Beach passed Ordinance 17-22, which included a Water and Wastewater rate increase. This adjustment went into effect on July 1, 2022, and is reflected on your individual utility bill. 

Please be advised this adjustment was based on recommendations from the Water & Wastewater Rate Options Report issued on March 8, 2022, by a consulting firm that was engaged by the City of Delray Beach.  The purpose of the rate adjustment is to provide needed upgrades to existing infrastructure as well as to construct a new water treatment plant.
