Captain Michael Moschette began his career with the City of Delray Beach Police Department in 1995. He was promoted to sergeant in 2005, to lieutenant in 2010 and to his present rank of Captain in 2020. He is currently the commander of the investigative division of the police department. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He is also a graduate of the Southern Police Institute’s 64th Command Officers Development Course,  Senior Management Institute for Police - Police Executive Research Forum (72^nd Session) and FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Course.

Captain Moschette's professional affiliations include the Police Executive Research Forum, FBI-LEEDA (Law Enforcement Executive Development Association), International Association of Chiefs of Police and Palm Beach County Association of Chiefs of Police. He is a current member of the South County Mental Health Center Board. Captain Moschette has a wide range of experience, having served in all operational divisions of the Delray Beach Police Department.
