Lieutenant Luis Skeberis began his career with the Delray Beach Police Department in 2007.  He was promoted to sergeant in 2015, then to lieutenant in 2022. Lt. Skeberis is currently a road patrol shift commander. His experience includes Community patrol, Problem-Oriented Policing, Crime Suppression, Criminal Intelligence, Narcotics, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Property Crime, Fraud, and Major Case Investigations to include Homicide. Lieutenant Skeberis formerly served as the Honor Guard Commander and a S.W.A.T. Team Leader. He’s also an 18-year U.S. Navy Veteran. Lieutenant Skeberis attended Central Texas College and Palm Beach State College.
