The City of Delray Beach, Neighborhood Services Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department, is soliciting applications from qualified non-profit organizations interested in providing services that address one or more of the public service needs targeted in the city’s Community Development Block Grant and the Urban Development Action Grant (UDAG) program.
SCOPE OF WORK
Under both programs, grant funds may be used to provide public services (including labor, supplies, materials and other costs), provided the public service is:
- A new service; or
- A quantifiable increase in the level of a service
Targeted public service activities (570.201(e)) include, but are not limited to:
- Childcare
- Youth Services
- Literacy Programs
- Education programs
- Fair housing activities
- Job training
- Services for the elderly
- Homeownership assistance, etc.
Application Information
The completed application must address one or more of the targeted public service needs listed above and must serve primarily low to moderate income persons in the City of Delray Beach. Agency can only receive funds through one grant source. Grant maximum is $60,000. Funds are provided as a monthly reimbursable grant requiring grantee performance report within course of FY2024-2025 (October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025).
