During their May 2, 2023, meeting, the Delray Beach City Commission voted to cancel all solicitations and reject all proposals for the redevelopment of the municipal golf course.
Watch the May 2, 2023, Commission Meeting:
The City of Delray Beach was hired CBRE as the exclusive agent for a new master-planned 18-hole golf course to revitalize the current Delray Beach Golf Club at 2200 Highland Avenue. The site is approximately 150 acres located along Atlantic Avenue to the north and just west of Interstate 95.
The redevelopment would have included a redesigned golf course that will prioritize the integrity and historical significance of the current 9-hole course designed by acclaimed golf course designer, Donald Ross. Additionally, there would have been new amenities, including a clubhouse, golf pro shop, bar, kitchen, restaurant, golf cart barn and maintenance building.
