Shadow Day 2024

Join the City of Delray Beach for our annual shadow day experience, where college students and recent graduates spend the day shadowing our team members in departments and roles that align with their field of study.  Shadow Day is taking place on Tuesday, December 16th, 2024. Please be sure to submit your resume to shadowprogram@mydelraybeach.com. The application deadline is 3 PM on Friday, November 22nd, 2024.

Come join us at the City of Delray Beach for our annual shadow day experience. Where students spend the day shadowing real professionals. You will get the opportunity to:

• Conduct informational interviews with a variety of employees, department directors, and the City Manager.

• Participate in a guided tour of the facility.

• Attend meetings or organizational events.

• Learn about career/internship opportunities within the organization

• Network with hiring managers and your school’s alumni

  Individuals who participate in the shadow day are priority picks for summer internship jobs. Shadow Day is held once a year, during the winter holiday break. Please check back on the HR page for the next event.
