The Home Safety Survey Program focuses on three aspects of safety for Delray Beach residents: Fire Safety, Home Safety, and Medical Safety. As part of this program, personnel will visit your home and check for a variety of hazards and levels of emergency preparedness. We will make recommendations to help mitigate any potential dangers to reduce the number of injuries, illnesses, and fires.

The survey includes:

• Location and functionality of smoke/carbon monoxide detectors
• Installation of smoke detectors (if needed)
• Family Fire Safety Plan
• Hurricane Plan/Kit
• Common Fire Hazards
• Distribution of Vial of Life
• Blood Pressure Screenings
