The Historic Resource Survey project was completed in the summer of 2024. The project was funded through a Small Matching Grant by the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Historical Resources, Grant No. 24.h.sm.200.067.

The condition of the cemetery and historic graves were recorded and their condition was assessed. The report provides a written history for the original section of the cemetery and created a cemetery management plan for future maintenance efforts. Finally, the report documents that the cemetery qualifies for listing to both the Local and National Registers of Historic Places.
