Contractors should be aware of changes made to the Florida Building Code (FBC) which will impact your construction project.

Florida Building Code, 8th Edition was enacted by Florida State Statute for:

• Building
• Plumbing
• Mechanical
• Fuel and Gas

National Electric Code (NEC), 2020 Edition, enacted by Florida State Statute.

Florida Fire Prevention Code, 8th Edition, enacted by Florida State Statute.

Flood Plain Regulation (FEMA), adopted by the City of Delray Beach, Land Development Regulations Chapter 10. To obtain a flood map call (800) 358-9616 or go on-line to the FEMA Map Service Center.
