Duane D’Andrea joined the City of Delray Beach in 2015 and currently serves as the Director of Human Resources. Before joining the city, he successfully served as a Labor Relations Officer for a Class 1 railway. Mr. D’Andrea is a board member of the Florida Public Employer Labor Relations Association and helps facilitate labor relations classes focused on Introduction to Collective Bargaining, Strategizing and Negotiating, Impasse Simulation, and Grievance Handling and Arbitration.

Mr. D’Andrea oversees job analysis and design, policy design and implementation, recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, labor and employee relations, safety and wellness, and risk management.

Mr. D’Andrea holds a Master of Arts degree. He is certified as an EEOC Investigator, Florida Certified Labor Relations Professional, Professional in Human Resources, and Supreme Court of Florida Mediator.
