ORLANDO, Fla. (August 21, 2024) – The Florida Festivals & Events Association (FFEA) recently announced the winners of its annual SUNsational Awards during their 30th annual convention and tradeshow. The Program recognizes members' innovation, individuality and creative collaboration.
Nominations were accepted in ten categories, including Printed Materials; Outdoor Advertisement; PR / Media Campaign; Photo; Promotional Item; T-shirt; Broadcast Media; Multimedia Marketing; Events and Programming. Each category included three budget levels. Over 200 events submitted their materials for consideration.
The Delray Beach Parks and Recreation Special Events Division, in collaboration with Delray Beach Fire Rescue, has achieved remarkable success by securing four prestigious awards across three events.
Their accomplishments include:
- 1st Place Award for the Program/Event Guide/Brochure category for the 100 Ft. Christmas Tree event.
- 2nd Place Award for the website category for the St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival.
- 3rd Place Award for Banners/Street Pole Banners for the St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival.
- 3rd Place Award for the Promotional/Marketing Poster category for the Pride Festival and Concert.
These awards are a testament to the hard work, creativity, and commitment of the Delray Beach Parks and Recreation Special Events Division and Delray Beach Fire Rescue. The team is honored to be recognized for their contributions to the community and looks forward to continuing to produce exceptional events in the future.

Nominations were judged by a blue ribbon panel representing media outlets, printing companies, website designers, photographers, promotional marketing professionals and social media experts.
