Please join our Green Building Webinar, which will take place from 12 to 1 PM on August 16. By attending, you will gain a better understanding of the City’s green building ordinance, which took effect in November of 2023 and is up for reevaluation in November 2024. The webinar will provide an overview of the ordinance, followed by a Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and share your feedback. The City would like to hear feedback on the ordinance, especially any potential revisions or improvements. Buildings generate more than 40% of our total greenhouse gas emissions, so greener buildings are a significant way to address climate change. Reducing greenhouse gases also means cost savings due to lower electric bills, so it’s a win-win!
