City of Delray Beach customers with residential garbage service will receive a free special collection service from Waste Management and the City of Delray Beach Neighborhood and Community Services Department.
- Unlimited amount of vegetation may be placed at the curb for collection during Amnesty Week. (Normally yard waste is limited to 6 cubic yards per collection day).
- Your vegetation collection amnesty day will be your second pick up day of the week.
- Vegetation amnesty does not apply to commercial properties or landscape contractors.
Unlimited yard waste will be collected at NO EXTRA CHARGE the week of June 24 - June 29.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
- Do not include Household Hazardous Waste. Household hazardous waste is never collected curbside as it may cause fires.
- Household hazardous waste includes: Motor oil, Lithium Ion and Rechargeable Batteries, Propane tanks, Fluorescent light bulbs, Paint, Pesticides.
- Household hazardous waste can be taken to any Solid Waste Authority (SWA) designated Household Hazardous Waste collection site at no charge to Palm Beach County residents.
