Please join us for a public meeting from 6:30-8 pm on March 31th at The Swinton Operation Center located at 434 S Swinton Ave., Delray Beach. Representatives for the Florida Green Building Coalition and Home Innovation Research Labs will present information on these certification programs, focusing on residential and smaller development applications. The presentations will cover the certification program processes, credits, costs, and building examples. A Q&A session will follow the presentations.

The construction and operation of buildings are one of the biggest sources of carbon emissions that contribute to climate change. Green buildings generate less greenhouse gases, save money due to lower electrical usage, and are healthier for occupants. Because of the benefits, there is a growing market for green buildings in all development sectors.
