Public Notice
The public is advised that the Green Implementation Advancement Board Meeting is held each third Thursday of the month, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Swinton Operational Complex’s Lobby Conference room located at 434 South Swinton Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida, 33444.
Purpose
The Green Implementation Advancement Board provides recommendations to the City Commission regarding environmental sustainability and implementation of the Delray Beach Green Task Force Report which was adopted by the City Commission in 2009. The Board is also charged with reviewing City operations and policies and recommending strategies and projects for achieving Delray Beach's green and sustainability goals.
This includes information and incentives for residents, businesses, and organizations to assist the community with implementing recycling, water and energy conservation, Florida friendly landscaping, and other best practices that promote a green and sustainable community.

Meetings
Meetings are held in the conference room at the Swinton Operations Complex on the third Thursday of each month at 9:00 a.m.

Board Membership
The Board is made up of five (5) regular members, each are appointed by the City Commission.
Qualifications
All members shall have expertise or an interest in environmental conservation and sustainability and shall be residents of or own property in the City; own a business within the City; or be an officer, director, or manager of a business located within the City.
