Delray Beach Fire Rescue Strategic Plan 2024-2029

Delray Beach Fire Rescue’s Strategic Plan establishes the framework for the agency’s future and represents the highest level of planning that has been implemented within the organization. This Customer Centered Community Driven Strategic Planning process accomplished more than just the development of a document. It invited the Citizens Input Group (external stakeholders) to provide their input on the services provided and their perception thereof. It also challenged the Strategic Planning Group (internal stakeholders) of the Delray Beach Fire Rescue to look critically at paradigms, values, philosophies, beliefs and desires. It challenged individuals to work in the best interest of the team. In addition, it provided the Strategic Planning Group with an opportunity to participate in the development of its organization’s long-term direction and focus. The Citizen’s Input Group and the Delray Beach Fire Rescue Strategic Planning Group did an outstanding job in committing to this important project and seeing it to final form.

The men and women of Delray Beach Fire Rescue are dually trained as Firefighters and Paramedics, and our services include:

• Special Operations (Dive Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Rope Rescue, Heavy Extrication, and Technical Rescue Responses)
